The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable microservices, user interfaces, and APIs while following Agile and DevOps best practices.Responsibilities• Work collaboratively with a team of developers to design algorithms and application workflows• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code based on functional and technical specifications• Implement solutions in alignment with business objectives and enterprise standards• Verify, deploy, and support applications across environments• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing software systems• Gather, analyze, and incorporate user feedback to improve application functionality• Recommend and implement continuous improvements to code and processes• Create and maintain technical documentation for reference and reporting• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and estimations• Prepare and present sprint demos to Product Owners and incorporate feedbackRequirements• Experience working in Agile development environments, preferably Scrum• Strong experience in software design and development using test-driven development practices• Hands-on experience building microservices using Java (8/11) and Spring Boot• Experience developing frontend/UI components using ReactJS, AngularJS, or VueJS• Strong understanding of API design and development, including Swagger, OAuth 2.0, and JWT• Experience writing unit tests using JUnit 5 and Mockito• Experience writing integration tests for microservices• Experience working with Spring JPA and databases such as MariaDB and MongoDB• Hands-on experience with container platforms such as OpenShift and Kubernetes• Experience with DevOps tools including Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, and Veracode• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and automating deployments• Experience with event-driven and messaging systems such as Apache Kafka (preferred)• Experience with integration tools such as ActiveMQ, IBM MQ, and Apache Camel (preferred)• Experience with service discovery tools such as Consul (preferred)Education• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
