About the Role


We are seeking an experienced, licensed Medical Assistant (MA) to join a busy, patient-centered medical practice. This role is ideal for a highly capable, tech-savvy MA who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and takes pride in delivering excellent patient care.In this role, you will work closely with providers and the broader clinical team to support efficient clinic operations, ensure high-quality patient experiences, and maintain strong clinical standards. This is a hands-on, onsite role that requires both strong clinical skills and emotional intelligence.The ideal candidate has a team-first mindset, high IQ and EQ, is a quick learner, and is comfortable using technology to support patient care.

This is not an entry-level position and is starting ASAP.

What You’ll Do


- Perform hands-on clinical duties including EKGs, blood draws, vital signs, and other practical MA responsibilities independently- Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during visits and procedures- Ensure accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record (Athena preferred)- Deliver a high-quality patient experience through professionalism, empathy, and clear communication- Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and clinical supplies according to practice standards- Use EHR systems efficiently and adapt quickly to new workflows, tools, and technology- Anticipate provider needs and support smooth, efficient clinic flow- Communicate effectively with both clinical and administrative team members to ensure continuity of care- Demonstrate a strong team-oriented mindset, stepping in where needed to support patients and colleagues-Contribute positively to a collaborative, respectful, and patient-focused practice culture

What We’re Looking For


- Certified or Licensed Medical Assistant (required)- Previous MA experience required — this is not an entry-level role- Proven ability to independently perform EKGs, blood draws, and other clinical MA duties- Athena EHR experience preferred- Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and organizational skills- High level of emotional intelligence, professionalism, and intellectual curiosity- Excellent communication skills with patients, providers, and staff- Comfortable with technology and eager to learn new systems quickly- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting while maintaining empathy and accuracy

Schedule & Compensation


- Schedule:Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pmEvery other Thursday: 9:00am – 1:00pm- Pay:$20–$25/hour, based on experience$20 - $25 biweeklyWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
