As aSenior SOC Analyst,you will be responsible in handling cybersecurity attacks. Analyze and respond to alerts, compromise, breaches and proactively develop defensive measures and capabilities. Handle information security incidents and other adverse security events. Responsibilities:
- Lead forensic investigations and incident response activities for system, service, and network attacks and breaches, independently and as part of a team.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex or high-impact security incidents.
- Apply advanced security knowledge, skills, and expertise across projects and programs with minimal supervision.
- Partner with Security Engineers to design, build, and improve proactive defenses, automation, and detection use cases within the Arctiq SOC.
- Work directly with customers on advanced investigations, incident response, and post-incident reviews.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of SOC processes, playbooks, policies, and standards.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to SOC Analysts to support skill development and operational excellence.
- Deliver high-quality customer service and consistently meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Maintain a strong understanding of Arctiq SOC operations and managed client environments.
- Participate in non-traditional work schedules and on-call rotations within a 24x7 service environment.
Qualifications:
- One or more years in an IT security role or IT support role with significant security responsibilities.
- 3+ years of experience in an IT security role or IT support role with significant security responsibilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Incident Response and Analysis
- Digital Forensics
- Network Security
- Systems and Applications Security
- Data Security
- Vulnerability Management
- Strong experience working with a SIEM and security monitoring tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including customer-facing communication.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a high-performance, team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service and continuous improvement.
- Experience working within diverse teams and environments.
