How You Contribute to Pinnacle Transplant’s Success


The Logistics Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of warehouse operations, encompassing both inbound and outbound activities, within a highly regulated environment. This role ensures compliance with FDA regulations and AATB standards, safeguarding product integrity, traceability, and quality throughout the supply chain. The Logistics Manager is a hands-on, working day-to-day team player that will work within the team and with other departments.

Work hours: 

Monday – Friday; 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (hours vary/flexible with hours)

Warehouse and office environment

Location: 

North Phoenix, near 19th Avenue and Pinnacle Peak Road
Pay Rate: $88,900 - $120,000 (dependent on experience/background)  

What You Will Do


Inbound Activities


  • Direct receiving, inspection, and documentation of incoming materials in compliance with FDA and AATB requirements
  • Manage quarantine, segregation, and release procedures for regulated products
  • Verify supplier documentation and Certificates of Compliance before acceptance
  • Ensure accurate recording and traceability of inbound shipments in validated warehouse systems
  • Receive RMA grafts designated for return to customer owned inventory or re-work.

Outbound Activities


  • Oversee order picking, packing, and shipping processes to meet regulatory and customer requirements
  • Ensure outbound shipments comply with chain-of-custody, labeling, and documentation standards
  • Coordinate with carriers to maintain validated transport conditions (e.g., temperature control)
  • Monitor outbound accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with FDA and AATB guidelines

Regulatory & Quality Compliance


  • Implement and enforce SOPs aligned with FDA and AATB standards
  • Maintain documentation for audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting
  • Partner with Quality Assurance to investigate and resolve non-conformances
  • Maintain audit readiness at all times
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and GTP (Good Tissue Practices)

Inventory & Systems Management


  • Maintain accurate inventory records with full traceability
  • Ensure controlled access to regulated materials
  • Perform cycle counts and reconciliations in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Support validation and qualification of warehouse systems and equipment

Leadership & Team Development


  • Train and supervise warehouse associates on FDA and AATB compliance requirements
  • Promote a culture of regulatory awareness, safety, and accountability
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide coaching for continuous improvement

Safety & Facility Management


  • Ensure warehouse operations comply with OSHA, FDA, and AATB safety standards
  • Maintain clean, organized, and controlled storage environments
  • Drive initiatives to improve efficiency, safety, and compliance

What Qualifications You Will Bring


  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (preferred)
  • 5+ years of warehouse management experience in a regulated environment (strongly preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of FDA regulations (21 CFR Part 11, GMP) and AATB standards
  • Supply Chain & Project Management experience preferred, not required
  • Lean principles preferred, not required
  • Experience within an ERP (QAD) systems, implementation experience preferred
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Who You Will Partner With


  • Daily face-to-face, written, and verbal communication with Customer Service, Operations, Finance, Procurement, Production teams, leadership, shipping vendors, etc. to ensure all duties are executed properly, timely and according to policies and procedures.
  • Regular communication, both telephone and email, with internal/external teams to resolve any issues and aid in building good relationships.
  • Your Team. Regularly work in independent and team settings maintaining professional communication with all PTT team members including your team. 

Where You Will Work


  • Full Time position (40 hours or more) based in Arizona.  Hours may include evenings and weekends to perform tasks outlined in the job description.
  • Work requires bending, reaching, climbing ladders, and lifting items weighing up to 70 pounds.
  • Your work is physical in nature. Duties are such that there will be contact with human tissue and bone which may be considered infectious; use of PPE is required in all work areas.
  • Use of warehouse equipment, not limited to, pallet jack and straddle stacker are required. OSHA certification is required for use of equipment.
  • Position requires steel toe/composite toe boots to be worn when working in the warehouse or with equipment that requires certification.
  • Position will also work within an office environment

  • 160 hours of Vacation time, 6.16 hours accrued bi-weekly. Available to use after 90-days of employment.
  • (1) week, 40 hours of paid sick time. Accrual starts at date of hire per pay period. Available to use after 90-days of employment.
  • (10) annual paid holidays.
