Senior Environmental Engineer / Geologist (PE or PG) at NOVA Engineering

NOVA Engineering & Environmental is seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant for our

Charlotte, NC office. The right candidate will have 10+ years of consulting experience on due diligence projects. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Duties:

Senior Reviewer for Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Phase II Remediation Activities, and Brownfields
Project Management, report writing, business development duties
Indoor Air Quality Consulting activities (mold, asbestos, lead-based paint)
Underground storage tank removals
Mentor junior staff and review reports

Requirements:

Degree: Civil/Environmental Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Science
8+ years’ experience with due diligence projects (Phase I, II)
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) is required
Experienced with Phase I and II ESAs, Soil/groundwater sampling, PFAs, Brownfield work, Soil vapor, Risk Hazard Assessment, Vapor Barrier design experience
Good communications and reporting skills
Project management experience
Knowledge of regulatory requirement, North and South Carolina
Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
