Internship Overview:
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Radio Frequency Engineer Summer Intern to contribute to our lunar exploration initiatives. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in the field of radio frequency engineering, offering exposure to real-world projects and challenges in the aerospace industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the RF engineering team to design, develop, and test radio frequency systems for lunar missions.
- Assist in the analysis and optimization of communication links between spacecraft and ground stations.
- Contribute to the implementation of radio frequency hardware and software solutions, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Participate in the testing and troubleshooting of RF systems, including signal processing and modulation/demodulation techniques.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate RF systems with other spacecraft subsystems.
- Stay informed about advancements in RF technology and contribute to discussions on potential improvements in mission capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing an Associates, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Understanding of radio frequency principles, antenna design, and communication systems.
- Exposure to RF antenna design or simulation and analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, CST, HFSS).
- Knowledge of space communication protocols and standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
