Job Description
IDIADA offers you the opportunity to develop a career in one of the worldwide leading automotive engineering companies. We are looking for new talents to join IDIADA’s resident engineering team in one of our clients in Torino, to be integrated into the Vehicle Integration Team for a world-leading vehicle manufacturer. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the integration of various vehicle systems and components, ensuring seamless functionality and compliance with automotive standards.
Main tasks will include:
- Governance of vehicle requirements, including status overview and deployment to systems/components level
- Vehicle targets achievement monitoring vs. test cases, in collaboration with Validation Engineer
- Technical plans risks identification and consistency check vs. proto and testing milestones, including HW and SW integration
- Drive technical development at vehicle level, coordinating internal and external stakeholders
- Guide technical trade-off process, managing conflicts and driving the team to identify alternative technical solutions
- Technical issues management (tracking and reporting) from identification to solution implementation
- Performance management, defining and verifying the key vehicle-level attributes and features integration specific to ICE vehicles
- Drive implementation of corrective actions as required
- Manage conflicts related to systems engineering within the project
- Support cross-functional alignment and ensure communication of project development aspects
- Guarantee on-time and high-quality deliverables
Qualifications
Profile & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Automotive, Mechanical Engineering/Vehicle Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in automotive engineering or vehicle integration
- Italian mother tongue
- Good knowledge of the English language
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- knowledge of commercial vehicle development processes
- Comprehensive technical experience on ICE commercial and industrial vehicles
- Vehicle Requirements management and deployment to systems target setting
- Knowledge of vehicle architecture and integration processes
- Comprehensive understanding of ICE vehicle performance and attribute requirements (e.g. safety, NVH, durability, drivability, …)
- Analysis of CAE and test results
- Experience with Design Validation Plan (DVP) and prototype/testing plans
- Model Based Systems Engineering knowledge
