WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
This unique role within RealTime’s commercial team requires a creative, collaborative, and solution-oriented individual. The Solutions Engineer will partner with our Sales team to provide technical expertise, demonstrate the value of our platform, and ensure our customers are equipped to excel in clinical research operations.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
- Deliver high-impact live and virtual product demonstrations of the RealTime eClinical platform tailored to each customer’s specific needs.
- Build and maintain a library of reusable demos, scripts, personas, supporting materials, and sample data sets that reflect real-world customer scenarios.
- Partner closely with the Sales Team to understand customer needs, craft discovery questions, and design demo storylines that highlight value, differentiation, and ROI.
- Conduct discovery calls/workshops to map customer processes and configure compelling “day-in-the-life” demos.
- Present at conferences, webinars, user groups, and industry events as a RealTime subject-matter expert.
- Maintain a deep understanding of our solutions and how they translate to providing value across customer segments.
- Gather feedback during customer conversations and research and relay product takeaways and opportunities to the Product Team.
- Assist with product Go To Market efforts.
- Occasionally support post-sales activities such as working with Customer Success or train-the-trainer sessions.
- Stay current on clinical research trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape.
WHAT DO YOU NEED?
- Must have in-depth knowledge of the Clinical Research Industry and how Clinical Research Sites operate.
- High-energy and engaging individuals who can command a room (virtual or in-person).
- Consultative mindset – you listen first, then show exactly what a customer needs.
- Detail-oriented yet able to simplify complex concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Experience creating demo content or working with software solutions.
- Experience working in clinical research, such as via a Clinical Research Coordinator or Associate, Clinical Trial Manager, Study Start-Up Specialist, or CTMS Administrator role.
