Key Responsibilities
- Lead efforts in modernizing legacy systems and integrating advanced technologies, including cloud services.
- Focus on maximizing delivery and application performance, enabling the team to achieve milestones efficiently.
- Ensure that new tech stacks contribute positively, either through improved performance or by advancing business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalability, reliability, and technical excellence.
- Document and communicate infrastructure and design decisions clearly to both business and technical stakeholders.
Must-have Skills
- 4+ years of iOS native mobile development experience.
- Hands-on experience with Swift and SwiftUI.
- Familiarity with data structures, system design, and design patterns.
- Experience in API design, MVVM, declarative UI, Git, and DevOps.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional environments.
Nice-to-have
- AI Tooling Proficiency: Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation. Provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.
- Full-stack background with familiarity in cloud services, GraphQL, Firebase, etc.
- Passion for news and creativity in introducing new ideas and technologies.
- Background in journalism is advantageous.
