Your Mission
The DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure and deployment pipelines. This role bridges development and operations, enabling faster software delivery, improved system reliability, and efficient cloud resource management. Key responsibilities include CI/CD pipeline management, infrastructure as code, monitoring and incident response, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
Responsibilities
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide 24/7 support for critical systems.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Bicep).
- Monitor system health and performance and respond to incidents to minimize downtime.
- Implement automation for deployment, configuration, and operational tasks.
- Ensure security and compliance across environments, including secrets management and vulnerability scanning.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve workflows and resolve issues.
- Optimize cloud resources for cost and performance.
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and deployment standards.
- Participate in release planning and execution, including rollback strategies.
- Continuously evaluate and integrate new tools to improve DevOps practices
Requirements
Experience:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with at least 2 years of experience.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible.
- Understanding of CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins or similar.
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Linux OS
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace, etc.).
- Familiarity with security best practices in a DevOps environment (e.g., encryption, secrets management, access control).
- Understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including load balancing, DNS, HTTP/S, and VPNs.
Personal Skills & Communication:
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and with stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
