Title: Director, Human Resources and Culture
Description:As the Director, HR and Culture at TransLoop, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organizational culture, fostering employee engagement, and driving talent acquisition and development strategies. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing HR team while championing initiatives that align with our company's mission, vision, and values.What You'll Do
- Develop and Implement HR Strategies Design and implement HR strategies that support the company's overall objectives and promote a positive work environment. This includes talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and employee development.
- Drive Culture Initiatives Act as a steward of the company culture, ensuring that our values are embedded in all aspects of the organization. Foster a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Oversee the recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to onboarding new hires. Develop innovative strategies to attract top talent in the logistics industry and ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new employees.
- Performance Management Lead the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and professional development planning. Provide guidance and support to managers on performance-related issues and ensure fairness and transparency in the process.
- Employee Relations Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely and confidential manner, promoting a culture of open communication and trust.
- Compensation and Benefits Collaborate with leadership to design and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract, retain, and motivate employees. Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.
- HR Metrics and Reporting Establish key HR metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives and drive data-driven decision-making. Prepare regular reports for senior leadership on HR metrics, trends, and insights.

What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in HR leadership roles, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing HR teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to think strategically and translate vision into actionable plans.
- Demonstrated ability to foster a positive organizational culture and drive employee engagement.
- Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in HR analytics.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
