Full-timeDescriptionWith general supervision, the Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that the completed engine and/or component meets the minimum quality standards as established by both the FAA and our customers.
- Review and evaluate all maintenance documentation for completed/assembled product
- Record and communicate findings legibly and precisely to operations manager and customer program manager
- Perform dimensional and visual inspections utilizing appropriate technical documents
- Perform minor disassembly and assembly in accordance with inspection requirements
- Follow all company policies including safety instructions
- Maintain a neat and orderly workstation and promote overall good housekeeping practices
- Working knowledge of FAA requirements for repair stations (14 CFR Part 145 and Part 43)
- Work on unusually complex technical problems and provide innovative solutions
- Assist with continuous improvement and cost reduction programs
- Serve as organization spokesperson on advanced projects and/or programs
- Other related duties as assigned by the supervisor

Required Education and Experience:
· Minimum 5 years’ experience in the inspection of aircraft components and documentation· Proper use of micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, optical comparators, CMM’s, and other basic inspection tools· Must be able to read, comprehend, and interpret dimensional drawings and OEM manuals
Preferred Education and Experience:
