Heavy Duty Parts Associate

Starting Wage
$26 per hour
Main responsibilities:
- Assist with inventory (organizing, pulling, counting, shipping)
- Order parts from vendors
- Receive daily shipping (may be required to use fork-lift)
- Give received parts to technicians
- Create purchase orders and receive against them
- In charge of warranty parts
- Ensure full credit is received on returns, warranty and cores
- Accept phone calls for parts department and complete request
- Other duties as assigned
You must have a background for heavy duty truck parts and will be expected to know common parts on sight. You must be able to identify sizes (ie. ¼”, 5/16” ½”, etc.) Minimum three years’ experience preferred. You will have on the job training for parts specific to emergency vehicles.

Position reports to the parts manager.
Our ideal employee will be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Fire truck knowledge is not necessary. You must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly and will need to traverse a flight of stairs multiple times a day. Must be well organized, be detail oriented with attention to detail, have a valid driver’s license without restriction.Must be able to work overtime when required.
