This role will oversee both W-2 field sales channels and 1099 agent channels. This role is responsible for ensuring alignment with organizational goals and helping grow Paynada to the next level.

Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets across W-2 and 1099 channels.
  • Align sales initiatives with corporate objectives, ensuring consistency in messaging, pricing, and product positioning.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and performance metrics to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with training, marketing, and sales enablement to ensure alignment and effectiveness.
  • Lead, mentor, and support Regional Sales Managers (W-2) and National Sales Managers (1099), ensuring their teams meet or exceed performance goals.
  • Establish clear KPIs and accountability frameworks for all sales leaders and their teams.
  • Drive recruitment, onboarding, and training programs to build a strong pipeline of sales talent.
  • Oversee the integration and collaboration between W-2 and 1099 sales channels to minimize conflict and maximize coverage.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards across all channels.
  • Implement tools and processes to improve efficiency, reporting, and forecasting accuracy.
  • Support field teams in closing high-value merchant accounts and strategic partnerships.
  • Monitor performance and provide actionable insights to improve conversion rates and retention.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop targeted campaigns and solutions for merchants.

Requirements and skills


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Proven track record of recruiting, hiring, and training successful outside B2B reps across small and large geographic areas.
  • Proven outside sales experience with a track record of hitting and exceeding sales goals
  • Excellent management skills with the demonstrated ability to handle difficult employment situations
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of merchant services products, pricing models, and compliance requirements.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive sales leadership experience in the merchant processing/payroll/HCM industry
  • Minimum of 5 years of RECENT B2B cold calling, networking, and closing experience is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field required
  • Bilingual is preferred, but not required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency in IRIS or similar CRM.
  • Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
  • Travel up to 50% to support field teams and attend industry events is required

Compensation: 


This is a W-2 position. Base salary offered is $100,000-125,000 per year with the opportunity to earn vested residuals, which could significantly increase total compensation potential. OTE earning potential of $150,000 to $200,000 per year with commission.
