Your Role
As a Workiva Service Offering Director, you will:
- Lead Strategic Growth of the Workiva Offering
- Define, refine, and execute the strategy for scaling the Workiva practice across industries.
- Develop differentiated methodologies, accelerators, and delivery frameworks to position the offering asmarket-leading.
- Partner with leadership to drive revenue targets, capability maturity, and cross-service-line integration.
- Oversee High-Impact Workiva Implementations
- Serve as executive sponsor on complex Workiva engagements, ensuring delivery quality, client satisfaction, and measurable outcomes.
- Guide teams through discovery, solution design, implementation, testing, and deployment acrossWdata, SEC, ESG, FP&A, operational reporting, and internal controls use cases.
- Design Enterprise-Scale Workiva Architectures
- Architect scalable, governed data environments usingWdata, Chains, connectors, and integrations with ERPs, data warehouses, and reporting ecosystems.
- Establish patterns, standards, and quality frameworks that support consistent, high-performing Workiva deployments.
- Drive Offering Enablement & Thought Leadership
- Build reusable assets, templates, sample architectures, andimplementationroadmaps to improve efficiency and speed-to-value.
- Develop internal training programs and certification paths to mature Workivaexpertiseacross the team.
- Represent the firm at Workiva events, user groups, partner councils, and industry forums.
- Strengthen Client Relationships
- Cultivate executive-level relationships across CFO, CAO, Controller, ESG, Internal Audit, and Dataleadershipteams.
- Advise clients on reporting modernization, connected workflow design, data governance, and long-term Workiva platform strategy.
- Translate client needs into roadmap initiatives and new service offerings.
- Enable Talent Development & Team Leadership
- Mentor and coach project leads, consultants, and specialists across all Workiva disciplines.
- Build a strong bench of Workiva experts by fostering growth, collaboration, and a culture of excellence.
- Enhance Operational Excellence
- Establish quality standards,deliveryplaybooks, and engagement governance models.
- Partner with internal operations to forecast resourcing needs, manageutilization, and support practice profitability.
- Ensure engagements follow consistent processes across estimation, scoping, delivery, and quality review.
- Support Business Development & Growth Initiatives
- Collaborate closely with the business development team on proposal development, RFP responses, scoping exercises, and solution design.
- Ensure scoping aligns with delivery standards,methodology, and capacity forecasting.
- Participateinpursuitcalls, client workshops, and strategic account planning.
What You Bring
- Extensive hands-on experience implementing Workiva solutions, includingWdata(tables, data prep, Chains), connected reporting, controls, ESG, and SEC reporting.
- Strong understanding of how Workiva integrates with ERPs, GLs, subledgers, and data warehouses.
- Strategic Consulting Leadership
- Proven experience growing a service offering, practice area, or consulting capability.
- Demonstrated success leading multi-stakeholder transformation programs.
- Ability to work seamlessly with finance, accounting, technology, compliance, and executive teams.
- Data, Reporting & Controls Acumen
- Solid understanding of financial close, consolidation, management reporting, and regulatory reporting.
- Strong command of data modeling, ETL/ELT concepts, integration patterns, and governance frameworks.
