Program Overview
The Potter’s House Internship Program is designed to develop the next generation of leaders through hands-on experience across key ministry areas. Over a 12-week period, interns will gain practical skills, build professional confidence, and contribute directly to the mission of uplifting humanity through service, creativity, and innovation.Within the Marketing Department, the intern will assist in strengthening the church’s communications and digital storytelling initiatives—helping to enhance engagement across platforms and ensure every message reflects The Potter’s House brand, heart, and mission.
Responsibilities
- Assist in campaign planning, coordination, and execution for upcoming church events and initiatives.
- Support social media content efforts, including caption writing, scheduling, and light creative or copy support under team direction.
- Participate in cross-departmental collaborations for large-scale events, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
- Help organize content plans, project timelines, and assets using internal tools such as Asana, Box, and HubSpot.
- Attend team meetings, contribute ideas in brainstorming sessions, and assist with on-site marketing tasks on Sundays.
Qualifications
Must-Haves:
- Availability to work Sundays (8 a.m.–12 p.m.), Tuesdays, and Thursdays
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent collaboration and teamwork abilities
- A creative, self-motivated approach with keen attention to detail
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with email CRM tools (preferably HubSpot)
- Experience using the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.)
Eligibility & Application
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED
- Two letters of recommendation are required
- Subject to background check and screening interview
Note:
This is a part-time, temporary internship. Interns are not eligible for benefits or overtime but are covered under workers’ compensation per HR policy.
Candidate Project: Sunday Invitation Campaign
