Your Mission as a SNOC Engineer III
As a SNOC Engineer III, youâll serve as a senior-level escalation point for high-priority incidents, lead investigations, and refine monitoring and detection strategies. Youâll mentor junior engineers and collaborate with clients and leadership to ensure operational readiness and security compliance.
What Youâll Do:
- Lead incident response for critical security, network, system, and cloud events.
- Act as SME for one or more domains (security, network, systems, cloud).
- Develop detection logic, response playbooks, and automation workflows.
- Design advanced network and system solutions, including SD-WAN and high-availability architectures.
- Implement monitoring strategies and tune alerting systems to reduce false positives.
- Provide mentorship to SNOC Engineer I and II team members.
- Represent SNOC in client escalations and leadership discussions.

What You Bring to the Team
- Bachelorâs degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4+ years in SOC/NOC operations or infrastructure engineering roles.
- Proven ability to resolve complex incidents across security, network, or systems domains.
- Preferred certifications: GIAC (GCIH, GCIA, GCFA), CompTIA CySA+ or CASP+, Cisco CCNP or higher, Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate, AWS Security Specialty.
