Our Resolutions Department partners with outside law firms to resolve claims and the Resolutions Operations team helps to ensure smooth workflow throughout the claim resolution process from a financial, technological and strategic planning perspective.United Educators (UE) is now accepting applications for a 2026 summer intern in our Resolutions Operations Department. This year’s program will run from June 1, 2026 through August 2026. The UE Summer Internship Program is designed to provide students with meaningful work experience within the insurance industry and provide UE with a diverse group of talented individuals for future long-term career opportunities.
As a UE intern in the Resolutions Operations Department, you will support projects and operational activities for the Resolutions department including end-to-end department business process mapping, planning and preparation for technology projects, information security and data governance, claim quality assessment, best practices for vendor management and claim expense and outcome trend analysis.

- Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Sharepoint)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Requirements:
- Current enrollment in Bachelor’s degree program
- Professional, adaptable and positive attitude
- Strong research, analytical and time management skills
- Interest in the insurance, legal and/or claim industries
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable performing in a hybrid team environment working both independently and collaboratively

The below hourly range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.Hourly Range$24—$24 USD
