Learn more about our offices here.We’re looking for a Product Manager – Lease Accounting to shape the strategy and delivery of our lease accounting capabilities within the Prophix One Platform. Reporting to the Lead Product Manager for Close & Consolidation, you’ll collaborate closely with Product Design and Engineering to deliver solutions that help CFOs, Controllers, and accounting teams manage compliance with global standards such as IFRS 16, ASC 842, and FRS 102.This is an exciting opportunity for a product professional with hands-on experience in finance or accounting and a strong understanding of the evolving lease accounting landscape.
You’ll balance discovery and delivery, turning customer insights and regulatory changes into powerful, intuitive product experiences.
What You Will Do
Product Strategy & Delivery
- Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for Lease Accounting within the Close & Consolidation portfolio.
- Ensure alignment with global accounting standards and regulatory updates (e.g., IFRS 16, ASC 842, FRS 102).
- Translate customer needs and compliance requirements into actionable user stories, epics, and success metrics.
- Prioritize the product backlog and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features that enhance usability, compliance, and efficiency.
- Integrate Lease Accounting workflows into broader financial close processes.
Customer & Market Insight
- Monitor market and regulatory developments across key regions (Europe and North America).
- Engage with finance leaders, customers, and partners to understand lease accounting workflows and challenges.
- Conduct customer interviews and share insights to inform product decisions.
- Represent Prophix as the lease accounting subject matter expert in customer and industry discussions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to enable go-to-market activities and customer adoption.
- Support the creation of internal and external documentation, training, and enablement materials.
- Foster strong relationships across distributed teams to drive alignment and shared success.
What You Will Bring
To succeed in this role, you will need a combination of experience, technology skills, personal qualities, and education.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of product management experience in SaaS or enterprise software, ideally within the Office of the CFO domain.
- Practical experience in finance or accounting, with exposure to lease accounting and close processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Customer-focused mindset and a passion for solving problems for finance professionals.
- Must be legally entitled to work in the country where the role is located. Must be able to travel to the United States, Canada and/or internationally, and have a valid passport.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of lease accounting standards (IFRS 16, ASC 842, FRS 102).
- Familiarity with Cradle Accounting or similar lease accounting solutions.
- Experience with agile methodologies and product management frameworks.
- Exposure to cloud-native or AI-enabled financial applications.
- Experience working within global or scaling product organizations.
