About Jeppesen ForeFlight

Jeppesen ForeFlight builds industry-leading aviation software used by pilots, aircraft operators, and major airlines. We are a high-performance team of builders and problem-solvers who thrive on using data, systems thinking, and operational excellence to tackle complex challenges. As a newly independent, PE-backed carve-out, we are establishing a world-class transformation organization—and this role is a foundational part of that future.

About the Role

The Strategic Operations Associate is the analytical horsepower behind our most important initiatives. Part analyst, part operator, part internal consultant—this role supports high-priority, cross-functional programs tied directly to the PE value-creation plan. You will dive into data, build models, wrangle projects, and turn analysis into action in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze large datasets (SQL, Tableau, BigQuery, Sheets/Excel) to uncover insights and identify root causes.
  • Translate data into concise, actionable insights for executive audiences.
  • Support Senior Managers in delivering cross-functional transformation initiatives.
  • Own specific workstreams—process mapping, research, data analysis, stakeholder engagement, or project management.
  • Prepare polished presentations, dashboards, and written updates for leadership and PE stakeholders.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and propose scalable, data-driven solutions.
  • Develop repeatable playbooks and automated workflows to drive scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2–5 years in management consulting, investment banking, business operations, FP&A, or similar analytical fields.
  • Exceptional problem-solver with strong quantitative and modeling skills.
  • Advanced Excel/Sheets user.
  • Detail-oriented with strong ownership and a bias for action.
  • Clear communicator who synthesizes complexity for diverse audiences.
  • Curious, adaptable, and energized by wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced environment.
