About the Role


We are looking for a proactive and energetic Partnerships Associate to help grow our merchant network in Oman. This is a frontline acquisition role focused on identifying, engaging, onboarding, and supporting merchants across relevant sectors.You’ll work closely with internal teams to ensure merchants launch smoothly, stay engaged, and grow their performance over time. We are open to hiring a fresh graduate who shows strong drive, communication skills, and commercial curiosity.

Key Responsibilities


Merchant Acquisition & Onboarding· Identify and approach new merchants across priority categories (e.g., retail, F&B, services, lifestyle, etc.).· Pitch tailored merchant value propositions based on each business’s needs.· Support the onboarding process end-to-end (documentation, training, activation readiness).· Ensure new merchants are properly set up on tools/platforms and understand operating processes.Relationship Management· Build strong partnerships with merchants and act as a trusted point of contact.· Conduct regular check-ins to ensure satisfaction, resolve issues, and drive retention.· Gather merchant feedback and share insights with internal teams for product/campaign improvement.Campaign Support & Growth· Support promotional and campaign rollouts to improve merchant performance.· Coordinate in-store/on-ground activations where needed.· Track campaign results and suggest improvements.

Requirements

Experience & Education


· Fresh graduates are welcome, ideally with internships or projects in sales, business development, partnerships, or operations.· For experienced candidates: 0–2 years in merchant acquisition, account management, business development, or similar roles.

Skills & Competencies


· Strong communication and persuasion skills; comfortable pitching to business owners.· Confident with Microsoft PowerPoint for creating clear, professional presentations.· Comfortable with Microsoft Excel for basic reporting and analysis.· Highly organized; able to manage a pipeline and follow up consistently.· Self-motivated, positive attitude, and comfortable working in the field.

Language


· English is required.· Arabic is strongly preferred (spoken; writing is a plus).

Other


· Knowledge of the Oman business landscape (especially Muscat and surrounding areas) is a big advantage.· Willingness to travel locally for merchant meetings.
