Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Offsite Linen Distributor to join our team at the Grady Location. This role requires strong decision-making skills, the ability to act quickly, and excellent communication. Essential Functions
- Transport clean linen in covered carts to designated areas.
- Collect soiled linen from various locations and return it in covered carts.
- Verify linen quantities for delivery and maintain accurate records.
- Conduct linen inventory as required.
- Address and resolve client issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding client concerns and linen quality.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through responsive support.
- Uphold quality and safety standards at all times.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Follow all institutional procedures and Joint Commission standards.
- Operate equipment and perform related duties as needed.
- Perform general clerical tasks such as typing and answering phones.
- Assist with additional duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1–2 years of experience in healthcare, manufacturing, or similar industries.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and ability to lead when necessary.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, stoop, twist, and reach.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and push/pull carts weighing up to 250 lbs.
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Open to giving and receiving feedback.
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new applications.
