To learn more about Valeris, please visit www.valeris.com.The Pricing Analyst is responsible for developing, evaluating, and optimizing pricing strategies to support business growth and profitability. This role conducts financial modeling, performs competitive analyses, and partners closely with cross-functional teams—including Finance, Sales, Operations, and Product—to ensure pricing decisions are data-driven, aligned with market dynamics, and supportive of organizational goals.
Your Impact in This Role
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Develop and maintain pricing models for pharmaceutical services, incorporating market and competitive data
- Conduct regular pricing analyses to identify trends, opportunities and risks
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to develop pricing strategies for new and existing products and services
- Design pricing strategies and discounting policies for company's products.
- Conduct sensitivity analysis to evaluate the impact of pricing changes on revenue and profitability
- Communicate with product development, marketing, and sales departments to establish pricing policies for products.
- Develop/review polices, procedure, and processes for pricing
- Evaluate program costs to develop pricing strategies and ensure acceptable margins
- Maintain good communication within the department as well as other departments
- Interface with finance to contribute to analytics, budgets, forecasts, and reporting
- Provide accurate product cost to ensure profitability, generate accurate and timely financial data to track business performance, perform gross margin analysis, and perform ad-hoc analyses as required
- Make recommendations for process improvement and document procedures. Maintain proper processes and systems for inventory planning and materials purchasing
- Deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control
- Communicates team progress
- Performs cost and benefit analyses
- Assist the VP of Finance with completion of special projects as required
What you’ll need to thrive in this role
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
- Either - 3+ years of experience in pricing analysis or related field, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry – or – 3+ years in Client Delivery with solid understanding of hub patient journey and technical build requirements – or – 3+ years of strong FP&A experience
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in statistical analysis and financial modeling
- Proficiency in Excel is a must
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time, use hands to type, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to type 35 WPM with 97% accuracy.
- Although very minimal, flexibility to travel as needed is preferred.
- This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc.
