About the Role:
Broker-Dealer Operations is the core of Halo’s transaction processing, deal closing, and client onboarding team. In this role, you will directly support these key functions through implementing established workflows and contributing to the ongoing improvement of operational efficiencies.
Primary Responsibilities:
● New institutional account creation, onboarding, and maintenance● Book and report trades; track trades through settlement; correct issues as needed● Partner with internal client services team regarding account status and operations● Collaborate with external partners to support ongoing needs● Transaction and order entry, processing, and support● Onboarding and execution process documentation and maintenance● Internal systems support, includes data maintenance and reporting● Salesforce data management related to client and daily trade data, including entry and maintenance● Data monitoring
Required Education and Experience:
● Bachelor’s Degree with practical work experience in finance or trade-related field● Strong analytical skills and attention to detail● An interest in financial markets and/or fixed income products; desire to continue to grow and develop in the field● Enjoy productively interfacing with clients and solving problems with innovative solutions● Ability to adapt and change your strategy quickly based on new information● Experience with trade clearing software or Salesforce preferred● Licensing: FINRA SIE and Series 7 required or expected within 60-90 days of start date.

- This is a hybrid role, working 3 days/week in our downtown Chicago office.
