Overview
The Security Electronics Technician will be responsible for all electronic systems and computerized controls for our facilities, including locking systems, fire alarms, intercoms, CCTV, and other security-related systems.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain electronic systems and computerized controls for our facilities, including locking systems, fire alarms, intercoms, CCTV, and more
- Perform preventative maintenance on smoke detectors and related control systems.
- Make competent inspections of the building security and electronics systems.
- Become familiar with the design and layout of the facility while demonstrating the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics effectively.
Qualifications
- 4 - 6 years of security electronics experience preferred
- Working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs)
- Experience with CMMS and computer proficiency preferred.
Compensation
We are committed to offering competitive and equitable compensation. The hiring range for this position is generally between $26.92 to $34.42, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. Final salaries will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, licenses, certifications, and/or experience. In addition to these factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the general Hiring Range for the role.
