Overview
The Locksmith will be responsible for maintaining security hardware, electronic access systems, and all related facility equipment. You will perform a mix of preventative and corrective maintenance while responding promptly to lock-related and general maintenance emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Repair and adjust locks on door knobs, hinges, closers, panic bars, and windows. Maintain both new and existing locks, locking controls, and doors as instructed.
- Establish and maintain secure key systems to control building access and immediately respond to lock-related emergencies to ensure facility security.
- Install pneumatic locking systems, door positioning sensors, electric panel doors, and manual and electronic panic devices openers
- Follow tool control policies, lock control policies, and all OSHA guidelines while accurately logging all work performed.
- Respond promptly to all lock-related emergencies.
Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience required, along with the ability to read electrical schematics.
- PLC Locking mechanism knowledge preferred.
- Relevant licenses/certifications.
- Experience with CMMS and computer proficiency
