Position Overview
As a Medical Assistant at Medsien, you will be stationed in various clinics across the Lorton/Springfield/Alexandria, Virginia area where you will support the implementation and management of Chronic Care Management (CCM), Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM), and other care programs. This is not a remote position; you will work directly with physicians and care teams in person to assist with patient engagement and care coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Work directly in clinics to assist with Chronic Care Management (CCM) and Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) programs.
- Engage and enroll patients in person to CCM and RPM programs.
- Serve as a liaison between patients, clinical staff, and Medsien’s care management team to ensure effective care coordination.
- Assist clinic staff with program enrollments, patient follow-ups, and ongoing care monitoring.
- Support physicians and clinical staff in providing seamless patient care by preparing relevant health data for patient visits.
- Work closely with Medsien's care management team to streamline care delivery and identify potential areas for process improvement.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
- 2+ years of experience working in a clinical setting, preferably in a care management or chronic disease management role.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clinical staff and patients.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and clinical processes.
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel to different clinic locations in the Greater Alexandria, Virginia area as needed.
