Transportation Logistics Coordinator (Mid-Level)
Key Responsibilities:Shipment Scheduling – Inbound and Direct Ship: using the TransportationManagement System (TMS), coordinate shipments from brand partners andcustomers into our warehouses and directly into Amazon. Ensure timelycommunication and execution for both pickup and delivery.Inbound Delivery Appointments: Monitor inbound delivery appointmentschedule via cloud based application. Respond to escalations from shippers andcarriers regarding delivery appointment timing and availability.Transportation Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret transportationdata to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings or serviceenhancements.
Present insights and recommendations to the team andleadership as appropriate.Process Improvement: Proactively identify, lead, and implement processimprovement initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams, drivinggreater operational efficiency, scalability, and service quality in transportationfunctions.Qualifications:Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or arelated field.3+ years of hands-on industry experience in transportation orlogistics—specifically with freight invoice auditing, shipment management,and outbound operations.Experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) andexperience managing shipments with large carriers (Amazon experiencepreferred).Demonstrated history of leading or significantly contributing to processimprovement efforts.Key Skills:Advanced proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets; experience withanalytics, reporting platforms, or databases is strongly preferred.Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with astrong attention to detail.Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective work withinternal teams, external partners, and carriers.Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a dynamicenvironment.Initiative and independence in driving projects and improvements, as wellas the ability to mentor or support junior staff when needed.We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
