This 6-month, full-time co-op is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of AI, software testing, and customer engagement.You'll support our team in developing and managing end-to-end Playwright test suites using our AI platform, helping to translate customer requirements into reliable automated test frameworks. You'll get to write production-level code, solve real-world problems, and see firsthand how a fast-growing startup operates.
As Forward Deployed Test Engineer, you will
- Support the full customer testing journey, assisting with onboarding, test development, and ongoing optimization.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of high-quality Playwright test suites under the guidance of our FDE team.
- Assist with technical implementation projects, including AI test suite generation, configuration, and integration with customer CI/CD pipelines.
- Learn to ensure test reliability by helping monitor test suites, analyze failures, and optimize workflows.
- Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and develop solutions for unique customer requirements.
- Gain exposure to the pre-sales process by assisting with proof-of-concept implementations.
- Act as a key part of the feedback loop, capturing technical observations to help shape product direction.
- Help create and update technical documentation and testing implementation guides.
What we're looking for
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Must be available to work full-time from January through June 2026.
- Familiarity with software development principles through coursework, personal projects, or prior internships.
- Some experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
- A strong interest in software testing, automation (like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium), and AI technologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a desire to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- A fast learner with a proactive attitude and a passion for solving technical problems.
- High sense of agency and the ability to manage your time and tasks effectively.

$30 - $35 an hourThis is a paid, full-time co-op position (40 hours/week) where you will gain invaluable hands-on experience with cutting-edge AI and test automation technology.
