The Opportunity
Weāre looking for a Senior Software Engineer whoās excited to join an innovative team shaping the future of logistics. As part of our AI Native Engineering organization, youāll help develop software that thoughtfully integrates the latest AI tools to create smarter, more scalable systems.Youāll contribute to building the backbone of Rose Rocketās next-generation logistics platformāwhether developing the frameworks that power our system or delivering the customer-facing features that bring it to life.
Your work will span from foundational infrastructure to the experiences that help our customers move goods more efficiently.
What you'll be doing
- Collaborate with experienced engineers in a mentorship-focused environment where learning and knowledge sharing are part of everyday life.
- Bring ideas from concept to delivery and see how your work makes a meaningful impact in the world of trucking.
- Partner with cross-functional, product-focused teams that value curiosity, creativity, and continuous improvement.
- Explore and experiment with the latest AI-assisted coding tools, integrating them into your development workflow.

- Backend: NodeJS, NestJS, Typescript
- Frontend: React, Redux, Websockets
- Database: PostgreSQL, Redis, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch
- Infrastructure: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Github actions
What Will Help You Succeed
- A collaborative and curious mindset, with a hands-on approach to solving problems.
- Genuine care for your craft and the people who use your work.
- 5+ years (or equivalent experience) developing reliable, production-ready software.
- Bachelorās degree in Computer or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Interest in mentoring and supporting othersāhelping teammates grow while continuing to grow yourself.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools (Claude, Cursor, Cline, Windsurf) and enthusiasm to continue learning.
- Experience with agile project management tools (JIRA, Asana, Linear, or equivalent).
- Proficiency with Git and a strong understanding of version control best practices.
