🚀 About the Role
We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to take on the responsibility of end-to-end development for our innovative life-saving platform. In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing Carbyne’s life-saving products. Your contributions will extend beyond coding, directly impacting the future of 911 emergency communications and enhancing public safety as we know it today.Here’s what you’ll be working on:
- Develop an emergency 911 eco-system
- Design, develop and maintain highly resilient services with fault-tolerant and self-healing functionalities
- Build modern, complex Web Apps and UI components.
- Develop our solution across global regions to provide any person in the world the ability to contact emergency services as quickly and effectively as possible
- Enable Carbyne’s business growth by opening up the system to business partners
- Explore opportunities to apply AI technologies to 911 emergency communications
Requirements
🔑 What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering/Computer Science.Minimum of 3 years of experience in Backend Development, with a focus on Microservices (Experience in Scala is a plus, but we welcome expertise in any backend technology).Experience with cloud-based development, especially AWS- Advantage.Experience in Frontend Development ( We use Angular but we welcome any other language)- Advantage.Skilled in creating RESTful APIs.Proactive /"Can-do" attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.Feeling unsure because you don’t check every box?
