We are headquartered in Oakland, CA, and have additional offices in Minneapolis, MN, and Zagreb, Croatia. We are seeking a thoughtful and strategic People Partner (HRBP) to join our growing People team.

This role will work closely with leaders and employees to build an exceptional employee experience that enables performance, engagement, and growth. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to managers, providing guidance on organizational design, performance management, employee relations, and talent development. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and thrives in a high-growth environment. 

This is a hybrid role, working 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) in our Minneapolis (St. Louis Park) office.


What you’ll do: 


  • Partner with business leaders to understand their goals and develop people strategies that align with organizational priorities. 
  • Provide guidance on organizational structure, role design, and workforce planning to support scalable growth. 
  • Coach managers on leadership, feedback, and performance management to build strong, high-performing teams. 
  • Support employee relations with fairness, empathy, and sound judgement - balancing business needs and employee experience. 
  • Collaborate with the People team on programs such as compensation reviews, engagement surveys, talent calibration, and development planning. 
  • Analyze people data and trends to identify opportunities for proactive improvements in retention, engagement, and team health. 
  • Partner with People Ops on initiatives related to onboarding, policies, people processes, compliance, and culture. 
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to align on hiring priorities and clarity on team needs

Who you are: 


  • 6-8 years of HR experience, including at least 3 years in a business partner role.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and build relationships with leaders across all levels of an organization. 
  • Strong problem solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and make sound decisions. 
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills; able to handle sensitive issues with discretion. 
  • Experience in a high-growth or startup environment is highly valued. 
  • Comfortable balancing strategic work with day-to-day operational needs.
