The Associate Business Analyst will be a key member of the Finance & Analytics team, reporting directly to the Manager of Finance & Analytics. This role will play a part in supporting the growth of our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) business by providing data-driven insights, reporting, and strategic recommendations that enhance performance across eCommerce and retail channels.This is an exciting entry level opportunity contributing to the evolution of data-driven decision-making within the brand. The ideal candidate will bring analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, paired with a natural curiosity to explore data and translate findings into actionable business insights.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with DTC channels and supporting departments including eCommerce, Retail, Marketing, Merchandising, and Planning, to translate business initiatives into data requirements and actionable reporting.
- Monitor competitive, market, and technology trends to inform channel strategies and support data-driven decision-making across Greyson’s growing DTC ecosystem.
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve recurring dashboards and ad-hoc reports that provide visibility into DTC performance, customer behavior, and financial outcomes.
- Create and enhance reporting using Excel and Business Intelligence platforms (e.g., NSAW, Shopify, GA4, NetSuite, Power BI) to surface insights across channels.
- Support data integration, enrichment, and validation processes to ensure accuracy and alignment across systems and teams.
- Partner with channel leaders and Finance on quarterly and annual forecasting needs.
- Analyze DTC sales and customer behavior data to identify trends, inform product performance, and evaluate promotional effectiveness.
- Analyze competitive and market trends to identify growth opportunities and inform channel strategies.
- Build customer segmentation and cohort analyses to support retention, personalization, and lifetime value strategies.
- Delivery weekly and monthly performance recaps highlighting key drivers, opportunities, and actionable insights for cross-functional partners.
- Partner with Inventory and Site Merchandising teams to analyze demand trends, sell-through rates, and product performance.
- Develop reporting that supports assortment planning, replenishment, and markdown strategies.
- Generate standard and ad-hoc reports summarizing business and financial data for review by cross-functional leaders.
- Create visualizations of sales, inventory, and conversion data at category, product, and SKU levels to support buy plans and channel inventory positioning.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Analytics, or related field
- 1–2 years of experience in eCommerce, Retail, or DTC analytics
- Strong proficiency in Excel and familiarity with BI tools (e.g., GA4, Power BI, or similar)
- Familiarity with NetSuite and Oracle products (NSAW, NSPB) and Shopify preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to translate complex data into clear insights
- Must reside within a drivable distance to either Detroit, MI or Grand Rapids, MI for occasional onsite meetings
