JOB SUMMARY
As the Digital
Project Manager, Creative Services, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing all production work related to digital assets that support sales, marketing, and company programs. This role involves coordinating the work activities of various creative team members, managing project workflows, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality digital assets across multiple channels. You will act as a bridge between creative teams, stakeholders, and management, utilizing both agile and traditional project methodologies to drive projects to completion.
This role is also an advocate for stakeholders, mentors, and partners both internally and externally. Strong leadership, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills are essential to ensure the successful delivery of work.This role reports to the Chief Product & Technology Officer.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work Planning & Scheduling: Work teams and leadership to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables. Translate these into actionable periodic work plans that can be measured and tracked.
- Delivery Process Facilitation: Coordinate the events required to plan and track creative work delivery (e.g. periodic planning, daily reviews) to ensure team members are productive and stay within the prescribed timeframes.
- Continuous Work Management: Oversee the effective execution of work using appropriate project management tools (e.g. Jira) ensuring effective workflow and accurate project tracking.
- Manage Work Blockers: Identify and remove impediments or blockers that hinder the team's progress, escalating issues when necessary.
- Agile and Traditional Methodology Implementation: Apply both agile and traditional project management methodologies as appropriate for each program or deliverable, ensuring flexibility and efficiency in delivery.
- Digital Asset Production Oversight: Manage the end-to-end production process for various digital assets, including written content, email campaigns, visual designs, and social media materials.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain quality control processes to ensure all deliverables meet company standards and client expectations.
- Resource Allocation and Scheduling: Effectively allocate team resources, manage workloads, and create realistic project timelines to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
- Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate clear communication between creative teams, program managers, and business development. Provide regular work progress, and other relevant data to provide visibility into team performance and project status
- Process Optimization: Continuously analyze and improve delivery processes to enhance efficiency and team productivity.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution.
- Track Work Against Expected Metrics: Track and report on key performance metrics, including project delivery timeliness, budget adherence, and team productivity
Required Skills and Experiences:
- Proven Experience: 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a creative or digital production environment.
- Project Management Expertise: Strong proficiency in both agile and traditional project management methodologies, relevant certifications a plus (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master) preferred.
- Digital Production Knowledge: Solid understanding of digital asset production processes, including content creation, design, and multichannel distribution.
- Tool Proficiency: Advanced skills in using project management and collaboration tools.
- Leadership and Team Management: Demonstrated ability to coordinate work across functional teams, motivate team members, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a proven track record of resolving project challenges and conflicts.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative Acumen: Understanding of creative processes and the ability to provide constructive feedback on creative work.
- Passion for Entrepreneurship: A genuine interest in empowering small businesses and a commitment to creating value for entrepreneurs through education and community support.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with other project methodologies (e.g., Kanban, XP)
- Knowledge of traditional marketing delivery tools (e.g. Mailchimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CMS, Analytics Tools, Graphic design tools)
Compensation
- Base salary of $100,000 to $140,000
