We are currently looking for a Dynamics 365 Developer
for a 100% remote position supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The selected candidate will design, develop, and implement customizations, integrations, and enhancements within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Service). This role involves collaborating with business analysts, stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions that improve customer engagement and operational efficiency.
The candidate must reside within the continental US.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement customizations, plugins, workflows, and integrations within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Service).
- Configure Dynamics modules to meet business requirements, including entity creation, form design, business rules, and process automation.
- Integrate Dynamics 365 with other enterprise systems using APIs, web services, and middleware such as Azure Logic Apps or Power Automate.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
- Conduct unit testing, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and manage deployment of customizations and updates.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for Dynamics 365 solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for customizations, integrations, and workflows.
- Ensure solutions align with Microsoft best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to team objectives and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Service).
- Proficiency in Dynamics 365 customization, configuration, and development using JavaScript, C#, .NET, and Power Platform.
- Experience working with Dynamics 365 APIs, web services, and integration tools.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dataverse and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Additional Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics products supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs.
- Experience with Azure services such as Logic Apps and Azure Functions.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform certifications.
- Experience with data migration and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for Dynamics 365 development.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Prior experience collaborating with VA stakeholders to optimize CRM workflows and enhance service delivery.
- Demonstrated experience implementing or supporting CRM systems within a federal agency environment.
- Knowledge of VA operations, policies, and programs, with an emphasis on client-facing technology solutions.
