We’re seeking an experienced
Creative Director to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of all creative initiatives across Genius Monkey’s client campaigns and Genius Monkey’s own brand assets. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a strong background in digital marketing, storytelling, and design—someone who thrives at the intersection of data and creativity.You’ll lead a team of designers, writers, and content creators to develop breakthrough creative that drives real performance. - Creative Leadership: Define and drive the creative vision for Genius Monkey across its marketing efforts, sales collateral, website design, and more.
- Campaign Development: Collaborate with performance marketing, media buyers, and client strategy teams to conceptualize and deliver compelling display ad creative tailored to programmatic channels.
- Marketing: Execute effective email marketing campaigns for the Genius Monkey brand. Assist in strategizing and implementing an effective social media team across all social platforms.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a cross-functional team of creatives to execute high-quality deliverables under tight timelines.
- Brand Oversight: Maintain and evolve the Genius Monkey brand identity across digital touchpoints, including website, social media, and sales collateral.
- Client Engagement: Present creative concepts to clients, respond to feedback, and adapt campaigns to align with performance goals.
- Performance Optimization: Use data, A/B testing, and analytics to refine messaging and visual strategies for optimal campaign ROI.
- Innovation: Stay ahead of digital marketing trends, technologies, and emerging formats—infusing fresh thinking into every campaign.
Requirements
- 7+ years of creative experience in digital marketing, advertising, or media (agency or in-house); 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven portfolio of successful digital campaigns across multiple platforms.
- Deep understanding of performance marketing, programmatic advertising, and creative best practices across ad formats.
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar tools; familiarity with animation, video editing, and interactive design is a plus.
- Strong experience in email marketing strategies and flows.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a collaborative, proactive approach.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills—able to translate complex ideas into compelling creative strategies.
- Experience working with diverse client industries, especially in performance-driven verticals like education, healthcare, e-commerce, and finance.
