About Us


Deep End Talent Strategies is a Certified Women-Owned HR consulting firm based in Zionsville, Indiana, serving small and midsize businesses and nonprofits across the U.S. We’re adding an experienced HR Coordinator who enjoys variety, thrives on client interaction, and can balance multiple priorities with ease. This coordinator will spend ~10 hours a week on-site with a client, handling day-to-day HR functions, including onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations, while supporting other Deep End clients remotely for the remainder of the week.

What You’ll Do


  • Serve as an embedded HR Ops Coordinator for an assigned client two days per week, supporting onboarding to offboarding, benefits admin, and employee relations.
  • Serve other current and prospective clients, along with the HR and Learning & Development teams, with the highest level of customer service, empathy, and professionalism.
  • Administer payroll, benefits, and leave programs in coordination with internal and external partners.
  • Provide timely, accurate guidance on HR policies, best practices, and compliance matters.
  • Support fractional operations needs for clients, i.e., meeting coordination, audit prep, writing SOPs, and office management tasks.
  • Draft and update handbooks, policies, and employee communications.
  • Manage and maintain data across HR systems (Gusto, Paylocity, or client-specific platforms).
  • Partner with hiring managers to coordinate recruiting and onboarding through various ATS platforms.
  • Support HR projects for multiple clients, balancing competing priorities with efficiency, and help secure future engagements.
  • Represent Deep End at client sites, professional events, and networking engagements.

What You’ll Bring


  • Minimum of 4 years of HR administration experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field required.
  • HR certification (SHRM-CP or HRCI equivalent) preferred or working towards certification.
  • Working knowledge of multi-state employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Canva, and HR/ATS systems such as Paylocity and Gusto.
  • Strong organizational skills, follow-through, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to style-switch between executive-level and front-line conversations.
  • A collaborative, service-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Indiana residency and the ability to commute to the 96th & Meridian area twice weekly.
