THE ROLE 👩🏾‍💻


When AirGarage closes on a new location, there are several things that have to occur before the new facility is operational and ready for drivers - these things include Signage (design, vendor coordination, installation), License Plate Reading (LPR) cameras (survey, electrical work, installation), Permitting, & more.As the Launch Operations Signage Lead, it will be your responsibility to work with our Sales, Onboarding and Partner Success teams, as well as directly with our Partners in order to ensure the timely and successful launch of new AirGarage facilities.

You should feel comfortable juggling multiple, simultaneous projects, iterating and developing new processes, coordinating with external vendors, and communicating project progress to internal and external stakeholders.This is a unique position in that you will need to have several very different skillsets - you will need the ability to identify and negotiate with vendors, design and coordinate detailed launch plans, communicate across various different teams, while also having an eye for detail and high design standards.

WHAT YOU WILL DO 👷‍♀️


  • Source and manage vendors to facilitate the installation of AirGarage signage in order to ensure successful launches of new facilities across the US and Canada.
  • Collaborate across internal teams including Sales, Partner (Customer) Success, Onboarding, Operations, Product and more to ensure new facilities are launched seamlessly.
  • Work directly with Property Owners (Partners) to ensure our launch plan is up to their standards and they are informed of our progress every step of the way.
  • Diligently track the completion of launch related tasks and milestones and keep Onboarding, Operations and Partner Success updated on progress.
  • Innovate - there is a ton of room for experimentation and improvement in our launch process. You’ll be the person helping us improve this process as we continue to grow.

SCOPE & EXPECTATIONS 🏗️


Scope


  • Own the signage program end-to-end, from blank page to live in the field.
  • Define standards, audit locations, scope vendors, and drive installs at pace.
  • Manage a small remote team.

What “great” looks like


  • A self-starter who can take ambiguous problems from 0 to 1, create the plan, and execute without waiting for perfect inputs.
  • Bias to action and pragmatic decision-making.

Day to day


  • Build and iterate our signage playbook and bill of materials by market and site type.
  • Run site assessments, collect on‑the‑ground context, and validate assumptions.
  • Source, negotiate, and manage vendors at scale while maintaining quality and speed.
  • Partner with Ops, Sales, and Compliance to ensure signage supports revenue, compliance, and brand.
  • Track timelines, costs, and outcomes in a lightweight but reliable system in Notion.

Travel


  • Willingness to fly on short notice when in‑person context is the unlock for speed or accuracy.
  • Travel is intended to make your life easier and remove stress, not the other way around.

Success metrics


  • Time from site activation to signage live.
  • First‑time install accuracy.
  • Vendor reliability.
  • Impact on enforcement and revenue.

Early projects you might tackle


  • Create a pre‑launch survey process to minimize return trips and follow‑ups after install.
  • Pilot a rapid‑assessment process for new sites to cut activation timelines.

WHAT YOU NEED 👩🏼‍🎓


  • Organizational skills in order to manage multiple projects in different cities simultaneously, with varying degrees of difficulty and stakeholder input.
  • The ability to facilitate seamless collaboration and communication across AirGarage’s internal teams, our landlord Partners, and external vendors is the most important quality a candidate will need to be successful in this role.
  • Resourcefulness. Every launch has unforeseen delays and various hurdles that you will need to find a way to overcome. You need to be extremely comfortable operating in ambiguity and confident in your ability to find a solution to any problem thrown at you.
  • Nice to have: Design skills (Figma experience), Salesforce experience

IMPORTANT NOTE 🚨


AirGarage is a remote-first company, but we also value in-person collaboration to strengthen trust and teamwork. Team members should expect ~6 weeks of travel per year for:

  • 2–3 full company offsites, “Remote Weeks”
  • Lending a hand to support 2 new location launches
  • In-person onboarding as well as supporting other onboarding sessions for new team members

The rest of the year, team members can work remotely from wherever (US time zones) they’re most comfortable as long as they are performing well in their role. Attendance at in-person events throughout the year is expected—if you’re not open to traveling ~6 weeks per year for work, this role isn’t a good fit for you.
