Full-timeDescriptionSpatial Front Inc. (SFI) is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Developer to support our Federal Government customer. In this role, you will help deliver Application Operations, Maintenance, and Modernization (O&M) services for mission-critical grants management systems. You’ll collaborate with a cross-functional team of developers, analysts, project managers, and database specialists to modernize multiple legacy on-premise systems and migrate them to a secure, FedRAMP-certified cloud environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and perform full-stack software development to support application operations, enhancements, and modernization initiatives.
- Develop and maintain applications using Java EE and related technologies in a Linux / Oracle / WebLogic environment.
- Conduct requirements analysis, system design, development, testing, and deployment of new features and system enhancements.
- Provide technical support for production operations, including issue resolution and trouble ticket remediation.
- Implement minor system fixes, regulatory updates, and infrastructure/software upgrades.
- Participate in Agile development teams, ensuring adherence to quality, security, and project standards.
- Contribute to project documentation, management deliverables, and technical reports.
- Provide technical expertise to support the migration of on-premise applications to a cloud-based shared services environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Substitution: Four (4) additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for a four-year degree.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- 4+ years of experience designing and coding/configuring business workflows and forms.
- Proven experience with Linux OS, Oracle Database, and WebLogic-based applications.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and analytical skills.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience supporting federal grants management systems and related business processes.
- Proficiency in MicroStrategy development, data content creation, and SQL scripting (including business intelligence and report generation).
- Proficiency in data analytics, visualization, and architecture.
- Experience with application modernization and cloud migration.
- Familiarity with the Granicus Grantium COTS Product is a plus.
Preferred Certifications:
- Oracle Certified Java Programmer
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
Additional Information:
