Position Summary
Tricon is seeking a Treasury Analyst to join one of our largest offices in Mumbai, India. This role will have a dual reporting to the Treasurer (based in Houston, TX) and Tricon India’s Country Manager (based in Mumbai). The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, with a schedule from 5:30pm to 2:30am (IST) in order to closely match the Houston daytime hours. The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal and English skills, background in treasury/accounting operations, and cash management, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced trading environment.Responsibilities
- Process payments to counterparties across various global regions through online banking portals, including ACH and international wire transfers.
- Coordinate closely with internal departments to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company and banking procedures.
- Communicate effectively via email and phone with both internal and external stakeholders, including cross-functional teams and international banking institutions.
- Prepare and distribute payment confirmations, SWIFT copies, and related documentation as required.
- Manage daily cash flow activities, including monitoring account balances and reconciling outgoing payments.
- Proactively trace and resolve any payment or fund transfer issues with banks in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain organized records and ensure adherence to audit and reporting standards.
- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, organization, and responsiveness in a fast-paced environment.
- Depending on the candidate’s performance (at the Treasurer and Country Manager’s sole criteria) and no less than 6 months after the initial hire, additional tasks may be provided related with the issuance of letter of credits such as processing these instruments, reconciling fees, etc.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (i.e. finance, accounting, etc.) required.
- 3+ years’ relevant experience required. Relevant work experience with accounting firm or in an accounting/finance department is preferred
- Experience in trading or banking environments.
- Proactive and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Experience with an ERP is an advantage (Oracle JD Edwards).
- Strong Excel skills. Background in SQL or any other advanced computer skills is also preferred.
- English advanced (Spoken and Written)
