About This Role: Fullstack Developer (Backend-Leaning)As a Fullstack Developer with a strong focus on backend systems, you'll play a key role in Proscia’s digital pathology platform, helping to design, build, and scale the software that enables pathologists to diagnose patients more efficiently and accurately.
You’ll work on performance-critical features like image streaming, data pipelines, and backend services for managing clinical workflows, ensuring that the platform is both robust and fast.
What You’ll DoAt a fast-moving company like Proscia, you’ll wear multiple hats—but on most days, you can expect to:
- Collaborate in an agile Scrum team using modern tools for requirements management, sprint planning, and delivery.
- Build and maintain backend services and APIs that power the platform’s user experience and integrate with data processing pipelines.
- Partner closely with Product to understand the nuanced needs of our customers—including pathologists, lab technicians, and IT staff.
- Work across the stack with technologies likeNode.js,TypeScript,PostgreSQL, and frameworks likeVue.jsfor occasional frontend work.
- Help shape and implement test strategies using modern tools likePlaywrightto ensure product stability and performance.
What We’re Looking ForWe’re a high-growth company looking for entrepreneurial developers who enjoy building in complex domains. The ideal candidate will have:
- 2+ years of professional software development experience
- Proficiency inTypeScriptandSQL; experience withNode.jsis especially valued
- Solid software engineering fundamentals and attention to detail
