  • Lead multiple cross-functional engineering teams in delivering new features, product enhancements, and platform improvements on schedule and within scope.
  • Drive the adoption of modern development practices, CI/CD, cloud-native architecture, and DevOps principles to increase team productivity and software quality.
  • Collaborate with Product, QA, Support, and Customer Success to translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions.
  • Mentor engineering managers and senior technical staff, fostering talent development, accountability, and high performance across teams.
  • Ensure strong engineering processes including code review, automated testing, security best practices, and technical documentation.
  • Manage resourcing, budget, and roadmap priorities in partnership with executive stakeholders.
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and engineering excellence.

Required Skills/Experience/Education:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, including 5+ years in engineering leadership roles.

  • Deep technical expertise in modern software architectures, cloud platforms (e.g., Azure or AWS), and scalable service-oriented systems.
  • Experience with .NET, SQL Server, and front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern SDLC practices.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the energy sector, especially upstream oil & gas or ERP platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage distributed or hybrid teams.
  • Passion for mentoring and developing engineering talent.
  • A strong balance of technical depth and business acumen.
