Job Information


The Warehouse Supervisor ensures efficient operations of one or multiple locations and/or distribution centers. Responsibilities may include financial management, operational performance and analysis, planning and execution, distribution, fleet management, inventory management, vendor management, and leadership, including performance management. Not responsible for sales. Manage designated areas of Warehouse Operation, oversee functional areas, and perform manager’s duties as assigned. Responsible for consistent application of SOP’s (Standard Operating Policies) and associate administration in the facility.

Key Responsibilities


  • Oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate processing of orders and shipments.
  • Enforce efficient warehouse processes and procedures.
  • Coordinate the daily shipping schedule. 
  • Communicate with Sales team on orders in progress and assist in prioritizing orders based on deadlines
  • Provides prompt and courteous customer service to customers/carriers. 
  • Maintain records, report relevant information, and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate servicing as required
  • Responsible for the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse. 
  • Complete shipping and receiving if coverage assistance required. 
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular inventory audits.
  • Daily Cycle Counting
  • Handle Inventory Adjustments as required, while maintaining back-up records to support each adjustment
  • Work with Head Office on any inventory adjustments as required.
  • Set up of incoming freight as required
  • Coordination of export orders and export paperwork
  • Maintain warehouse adherence to company policies, standards, and compliance with health and safety regulations 
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Technical certification or Associates degree may be required in some areas
  • Generally, 5 to 7 years of experience in related area of responsibility
  • Forklift Certification a must, 2 years’ experience in warehouse operations/supervision required
  • Must be proficient in Outlook, Microsoft programs, and be comfortable using a computer.

  • Occasionally balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
  • Continually required to talk or hear
  • Continually utilize visual acuity to read technical information and/or use a keyboard
  • Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds
  • Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts
  • Occasionally exposure to outside weather conditions
  • Occasionally loud noise (examples: shop tool noises, electric motors, moving mechanical equipment)
