This role blends analytical rigor, stakeholder management, and clear communication to translate business needs into scalable, strategic solutions. Product Analysts operate within the broader Product Operations function and focus on enabling the broader Product Management function to achieve targeted outcomes.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and drive consensus across teams.
- Translate complex business challenges into clear documentation, including use cases, user stories, and functional requirements.
- Conduct data-driven analysis by synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data to uncover trends, insights, and recommendations.
- Partner with product managers and engineers to shape feature development and ensure alignment with business outcomes.
- Develop visual artifacts (e.g., process flows, wireframes, journey maps) to aid in decision-making and implementation.
- Improve product and process performance by identifying bottlenecks and recommending optimization opportunities, including documentation, new processes or routines, etc.
- Support testing and validation by creating test cases and participating in user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Contribute to strategic planning by supporting roadmap discussions with insights and structured documentation.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 2-4 years of related experience or an advanced degree with internship experience.
Required Experience
- Demonstrated ability to structure and communicate complex business problems and solutions.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience working in or closely alongside Product Management organizations.
- Experience navigating competing priorities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred
- Familiarity with financial modeling or business case development.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Knowledge of digital banking or fintech products.
- Experience with backlog grooming, release planning, and product roadmapping tools.The salary range for this position is: $70,000 - $90,000
