Job Description
The ITP Processing Specialist is responsible for overseeing the registration function of the mileage reimbursement program for our health plan members. This position will oversee the systems in place to register members for the Gas Mileage Reimbursement (GMR) Program, this includes sending out registration packets, answering general questions, receiving registration packets, verifying content, entering all applicable data into the members profile and tracking members' continued eligibility for the program.Primary Responsibilities
- Sending GMR registration applications to members via mail and electronically
- Answer phones and respond to member inquiries
- Receiving and entering completed GMR application into tracking system
- Communicate directly with members regarding any missing information
- Clearly document all correspondence with members
- Maintaining ITP database
- Provide advanced notice to members regarding any expiring items
- Other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year of high-volume data management experience
- Minimum of one (1) year of prior in-bound Call Center experience, heavy phone volume
- Data entry required and/or experience in a fast-paced, high-level customer service-oriented environment
- Project tracking and documentation
- Experience with HIPAA regulations
Preferred Education and Experience
- Some college preferred
- Knowledge of Medicaid ITP/mileage reimbursement program guidelines
- Bilingual Spanish
