Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer located in Latin America to join our international team and help us design, implement, and execute both manual and automated test strategies for web applications. This role ensures product reliability, performance, and a high-quality user experience. The candidate will work closely with developers and product teams, focusing on early test involvement, thorough coverage, and continuous improvement of QA processes.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute manual and automated test plans for web applications.
- Build and maintain UI and E2E automation tests (primarily in Playwright).
- Identify, track, and manage defects; collaborate for timely resolution.
- Ensure Acceptance Criteria are defined, understood, and validated.
- Own QA strategy from user story grooming through final delivery.
- Proactively suggest and implement process improvements.
- Ensure the product meets quality standards before release.
- Contribute to an AI-enabled culture by adopting, experimenting with, and improving AI-assisted workflows.
Technical skills:
- 3+ years in QA for web applications.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test plans, and processes.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
- Familiarity with Jira or other bug tracking systems.
- Exposure to different testing types: Integration, Regression, Acceptance, etc.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Soft skills:
- High ownership and accountability.
- Strong problem-solving mindset.
- Fast learner, adaptable in a dynamic environment.
- Team player with effective communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive attitude toward quality.
Bonus skills:
- Experience with CI/CD test integration.
- Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- Experience in performance, accessibility, or API testing.
- Exposure to Agile or DevOps environments.
