Berman STAR Nissan is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is a Level 2 Technician or higher, skilled in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Nissan vehicles.

Full Time, 40 hours/week
Pay: $20.50 - $22.50 per hour based on experience + certifications

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks
- Use diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical problems and plan repair work
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any necessary repairs
- Test vehicles before and after repairs to ensure quality and effectiveness
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining vehicle issues and necessary repairs to customers
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive mechanic
- Dealership experience, preferred
- Nissan experience, preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
