The TA Manager will serve as a point of contact for the Operations organization within HR; maintaining a high sense of accountability and support to all of the Teams within Tradewind from a Talent sourcing perspective. The TA Manager will have strategic oversight of the full open-to-hire lifecycle. This position will assist with both flying and non -flying positions, with an emphasis on pilot recruiting. This position will evaluate candidates and coordinate all aspects of the candidate experience. Occasional travel will be needed for industry recruiting events.  RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as a point of contact for TA consultation on new and prospective searches for VP level leaders and below.  
  • Advise on solutions-oriented hiring strategies for new and backfill positions
  • High-level influencer with proven experience operating through cross-functional channels.  
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining a pipeline of qualified pilot candidates
  • Train and develop the HR Coordinator to demonstrate success in the discipline of TA
  • Develop and enact strategies to accomplish pilot hiring goals
  • Assist in the recruitment strategy for back-office and operational talent needs
  • Devise and implement sourcing strategies to attract top talent 
  • Support agency management and vendor relationships
  • Support Flight Operations with developing goals for pilot hiring needs
  • Conduct initial screens and assess candidates according to position criteria 
  • Schedule Pilot simulator evaluations and coordinate hotel and travel for onsite interviews
  • Collect proper certifications and documentation necessary for employment compliance
  • Maintain communication flow of candidate status with recruiting team
  • Account for diverse candidate slates: strategically sourcing and pipelining from all major markets
  • Propose, design and execute recruitment initiatives (career fairs, networking events, on-site candidate visits)
  • Create and implement a best in class New Hire Experience, accounting for all facets of onboarding.  
  • Projects and additional duties as assigned  

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience 
  • Ability to assert influence without authority  
  • Aviation experience a plus
  • Familiarity with social media and recruiting platforms 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping current with industry trends
  • Willing and able to attend trade shows/industry events in person

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Strength to lift up to 15lbs
  • Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for extended periods
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and via virtual platforms
  • Ability to operate a computer and other standard office equipment to perform job-related tasks

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, use of computers and office equipment
