Position Description
Origis Energy is looking for a High Voltage Installation Manager to join our diverse and growing team.The ideal candidate, reporting to our Senior Director Construction, will be focused on oversight andmanagement of all High Voltage activities to include Sub Stations, T-Line, Gen Tie, Interconnection andBESS.The position of High Voltage Installation Manager is a regular, full-time position, and is eligible for ourgenerous employee benefits package, including employer paid health insurance, paid time off, a 401(k)plan with employer matching contributions, and other great benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Site Representatives to oversee all High Voltage Installations.
- Support and report back to Project Managers and Project Teams as needed.
- Support Business Development to ensure we cover all aspects of high voltage installation.
- Monitor and report on high voltage safety and environmental programs. Collaborate with the
- Director of Safety to assure highest standards of safety related to high voltage installation.
- Contribute to training of the Site Reps and Quality Inspectors to accurately perform visualinspections of high voltage work.
- Work closely with Origis Engineering and other key stakeholders.
- Assure Origis QA/QC program is implemented to the highest standards
- Monitor all high voltage project activities at portfolio level and step in to assist team in resolvingcritical and complex issues as needed
- Assist with review of EPC schedules, procedures, QA documents, start up plans, lift plans andLOTO.
- Interface closely with Director of Quality and Director of Operations (Origis Services) tostrategize best in class project transition from construction to operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in technical or business field preferred
- 5+ years’ experience in high voltage construction
- Utility scale solar and BESS project experience preferred
