The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Windows-based systems to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. As a Windows Engineer, you will work closely with other IT professionals to support our organization's technological infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Design, install, configure, and maintain Windows server environments.
  • Manage and support Active Directory, Group Policies, and other Windows-based services.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability.
  • Implement security measures to protect Windows systems from vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with network engineers, system administrators, and other IT staff. - Develop and maintain documentation for systems and procedures. - Provide technical support and guidance to end-users for Windows-related issues. - Participate in the planning and execution of software and hardware upgrades. - Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell scripting and other tools.

Requirements


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with Windows server environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows Server operating systems (2016, 2019, 2022).
  • Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for task automation.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Certifications such as MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) or equivalent are highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with Office 365 and cloud services (Azure, AWS).
  • Knowledge of network security practices and tools.
  • Experience in backup and disaster recovery planning.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and frameworks.
